I went with a floral pattern and a soft color scheme for my card.
I have had this flower stamp set for quite awhile (it was from last STAMPtember) but for some reason I never got around to using it even though it is really pretty. I was also inspired by Debbie Hughes' soft color schemes and decided to try it out on this card. To start, I used my Misti to place the first layer of the flower in the bottom corner of a top folding A2 card. Then after stamping, I rotated the card 180 degrees and stamped again. I repeated that for the rest of the layers. Then I stamped the flower on a sticky note and cut it out as a mask to add the leaf. I used the same steps for the leaf, moving the sticky note as I went. The sentiment is actually a combination of two stamp sets.
This card was actually my second version. In the first one, the only difference was I added the sentiment lower on the card and used colored pencils to add more detail to the flowers. Which do you like better. I like the softness of the first one but also the details from the colored pencil in the second.
