It is graduation time and my little cousin is graduating high school. So I wanted a fun, bright card to congratulate her for all her hard work! For the background, I used the Large Ink Splatter stamp with a turnabout technique. I used my Misti and four different colors of inks to stamp and rotate a panel of cardstock to make the background. I really like how this turned out and am going to try it again soon. I then stamped and colored two of the new fishies from the Totally Narly stamp set with copics. I used a different stamp set for the graduation caps. I then fussy cut them all out and adhered foam tape to the back.
I trimmed down the background panel and added it to a side folding piece of colored cardstock. Then I laid out the whale and starfish to figure out where I wanted the sentiment. I used my misti to stamp the sentiment and then adhered the critters. To add a touch of shimmer, I used a clear glitter pen on the caps.
Supplies:
Stamps: YNS - Totally Narly, Large Ink Splatter; Lawn Fawn - Hats off to you
Inks: Lawn Fawn - fresh lavender, bubblegum, mermaid, celery stick; Versafine - Black;
Copics - misc
