Anyway.... I was inspired by St. Patrick's day for this card.
How pretty is that sentiment die and those gorgeous sequins? I decide to make this into a thinner shaker than what I normally do. That means it doesn't move as much but I think that works with this sentiment. I started by die cutting the sentiment out of a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock. My cutting boards are a little warped so I ended up using a scrap piece of cardstock as a shim and it cut beautifully. I cut down some packaging from a stamp that I had laying around and adhered that to the back of the sentiment.
I added foam tape (1/32" thick) all over the back of the panel and then glued several of the larger sequins to the back of the panel where they could overlap and show through the acetate. The rest of the embellishments I left loose around them. I used a Doodles Paper Playground sparkle blend and one of the great things about them is the different sizes of the embellishments included. So I could glue larger ones and the smaller ones bounce around them. The actual card is a pale green top folding A2 cardstock (sorry, not sure where I got it). I took off the backing of the foam tape and lined the top of the card and panel when putting them together. I glued a few additional embellishments to the front panel to finish it off.
