For this, I started with my watercolor background by taking the blue color and doing a wet on wet technique to color the top portion and then did the same with the green at the bottom leaving a blank space in the middle. I let them dry (mostly) and the added purple. There were a few places that it hadn't completely dried and the colors started to blend a bit but I used a dry piece of towel to mop some of the excess up. Once it had dried completely, I heat embossed a large background stamp over the whole panel.
The 'hugs' sentiment is from Honey Bee and all three layers are in the same set. I die cut the largest outline in vellum and the two smaller layers in white cardstock. The middle layer, I water colored purple. This wasn't watercolor cardstock so I used very light water and to keep it from curling up I used a closed ink pad to weigh it down while it dried. The watercolored background was trimmed down and added it to a top folding A2 card, then the 'hugs' sentiment was layered together and added on top. I embossed the smaller sentiment on black cardstock and trimmed it down. Then used foam tape to add it. A few sequins finished off my card.
