The little critters and trees have been hanging out on my desk for a couple of weeks now. I am glad I finally decided to put them on a card. I followed the sketch from this week's MFT challenge. I used a circle die that hung off the side of my patterned paper first and then did the same on some white cardstock to fit in the paterned paper. I used a stencil and distress inks to add clouds on the upper half of the white circle and then did the same stencil for the grass on the bottom but only in a few spots. Mostly just to add some dimension.
I cropped the corners of the patterned paper and then started adhering everything in place. I used foam tape for the critters so they popped up a bit. For the sentiment, I cut several strips of white cardstock and stacked them to give that dimension too.
Supplies:
Stamps: MFT - Forest Friends, More Essential Sentiments
Inks: Copics, Distress Inks
I am sharing this card in a few challenges:
