I am loving pineapples and tropical colors lately. I started this one out by stamping and cutting out the pineapple. Then I used a background stamp and my misti to mask off sections of the cardstock and stamped with the different colors. The white lines between each section weren't intentional but when I laid the masking paper down, the color didn't go all the way to the edges for some reason and I decided I liked it. I wanted to add some texture so I stamped the background stamp with versamark and then heat embossed with clear EP. I stamped and fussy cut the little banner and used foam tape to prop it and the pineapple up.
Stamps: HA - Tropical Background, Concord and 9th - pop art pineapple, Clearly Besotted - mini basic banners
Inks: SSS - Lemon Zest, Ranger - Raspberry sorbet, Mama Elephant - mojito and orangeade
I am putting this in the following challenges:
SSS - Work it Wednesday - Summer Icons
