hot stuff

Hi! I've made my second shaker card ever :)

I just love that little dragon, he is so cute! I started out by stamping him, the flame and the sentiment and then colored it in with Zig Clean color markers and water. Then I decided that I wanted him to have a candle that he is lighting so I stamped the cupcake and colored that in too. I die cut a square above him. On the base layer of my card, I adhered some design paper that I had and used foam tape and a piece of acetate from an old stamp set package on the stamped layer to make a 'bowl' for the sequins.
After I connected the two layers, I wanted some more dimension. I colored and cut out the balloons and added them to the top corner. I don't usually have this much color on my cards but it is fun. My son just got invited to a birthday party this weekend so this will be perfect!

Stamps: Clearly Besotted - hot stuff; Paper Smooches - birthday bash, cupcake (not sure)
Inks: MFT black licorice; Zig clean color markers
Dies: SSS stitched squares

I am sharing this card in a few challenges:
