Thanks
Hi! I have a cute card today. I colored the two kittens from Clearly Besotted's You're Perrfect stamps with copics and then fussy cut them out. The dp is from Lawnfawn and so is the sentiment which I die cut and then stamped. You can't really see it in the picture but I added glossy accents over the sentiment to give it some shine.
I am sharing this card in Freshly Made Sketches #284 and Sending Paw Prints - Green challenges.

Layering blossoms
Hello :) I love, love, love cards that have pretty watercolor on them but I never seem to be able to use watercolor correctly. I am going to keep trying though. This card is kind of a cheat on watercolor. First I masked off my water color cardstock so that only a strip in the middle was visible. I used Altenew's Bold Blossom set in shades of pinks and greens along the open area and then took a waterbrush before it completely dried to blur the lines a bit.
Once I took the masking off I used a wink of stella on the higlight parts of the flower to give it a little shimmer. The 'beautiful' is a die cut from C&9th's Beautiful You die and the little words are from the C&9th's Beautiful Words set. I used glossy accents on the die cut to add some dimension and then a few Nuvo drops too. I adhered the panel to a top folding card to finish it off.

Smile bright
I was inspired by Addicted to CAS's challenge word 'Smile'.
I knew I wanted to do something bright and cheery so I started with a couple of yellow distress inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed to smoosh ink on my kraft mat and then sprayed the mat with water. I was attempting to do a water color wash by using a paint brush to put water down on some watercolor cardstock and then add the ink to it. The color was a little brighter than I was expecting but it was definitely cheery. I stamped the sentiment and smiley face with versafine black ink and then clear embossed.

Rainbow day
Hello! This card is perfect for my little girls being that it has a rainbow, a unicorn and (especially!) a cupcake. I hadn't even finished making it and they were trying to take it for themselves, lol.

Celebrate with a cupcake
I colored this cute stamp from Penny Black's Cakes and Wishes set with my copics and then put in some shadows with colored pencils. I used gel pens to color in the sprinkles on the cupcake and then decided that I wanted a little more dimension so I added some Nuvo drops too. Its funny, I didn't realize I liked coloring until I started making cards. Now, I find random reasons to pick up markers, pencils and pens. :)

CAS Cherry blossom
I really love CAS cards but I struggle to make them REALLY clean and simple. This time I was determined and it is about as CAS as I can do :)
I saw the challenge to make a card with leaves/trees on CAS on Sunday and wanted to use my Hero Arts Layering Fall Trees. Only I really didn't want to think about fall yet so I decided to try my hand at making a cherry tree in blossom. I started by looking at a picture of real cherry blossoms to figure out what colors I wanted to use. I got a range of pink inks and started layering them on my tree.
I wanted the trunk to fade a little more in the background and make the pink more in the front. I used my white gel pen to shade around the branches and cover up a tiny bit of the brown. Then I took copics in similar colors and added some more pink dots. The sentiment is from the Thanks Stamp and Cut set. Once I had that done, I didn't like how my tree kind of floated so I used a Zig marker and some water to make a line of grass under the tree. I used some pink cardstock to just have a hint of color at the top and I was done.

Spring flowers
Hi! Spring is such a fun inspiration for colors. I used SSS Mod Flower background stamp to clear emboss some watercolor cardstock. Then I took three Zig clean color markers and a water brush to color the flowers and leaves.

Giraffe birthday
Have you heard about April the giraffe in NYC? The have a baby watch going for her, should have a baby any day now. So I thought I would make a birthday card with a little giraffe on it :)
Artsy thanks
I used small butterflies from Birch Press Design Close to the Heart and then drew in some lines showing they had already visited the flowers.
