AAA Cards #118 - Use a frame

Hello all! We've got another challenge over at AAA Cards challenges.

We want to see how you use a frame :) Here is my take on the challenge.

I've always wanted to take a trip to Australia, partly to see koalas and kangaroos. So for this card, my idea was framing a koala in a polaroid picture :) I stamped him on some white cardstock and used colored pencils to color him in. Then I took another piece of white cardstock and, using my paper trimmer, cut the 'polaroid' frame out. The sentiment was stamped at the bottom and I adhered the layers on a top folding A2 kraft card. To finish it off, I rounded off the bottom corners.

Supplies:
Stamps: Essential by Ellen - G'day mate
Inks: MFT - Extreme black; Prismacolor pencils

Our sponsor for this challenge is Stamplorations and they are giving away a $15 gift certificate to their store. Check out the rest of the design team and our guest designers for some beautiful inspiration. Hope you get a chance to join us :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. Super cute and simple card here Cheryl. Lucky you your koala is awake! They do sleep a lot in the gum trees. A nice blue sky background too. Thanks for sharing at ATSM this week.
