YNS New Release & Blog Hop

Hi everyone. I am so excited to be a part of the Your Next Stamp blog hop to celebrate their May release!! The stamp sets included in this release are going to be so much fun to use all summer long with their nautical and summer themes.

The blog hop ends at midnight (est) on 15 May and YNS is giving away 1 - $25 YNS Gift Certificate.  To enter just comment along the blog hop. You do not have to comment on every blog to be qualified to win but the more blogs you visit and comment on the greater the odds of winning. The winner will be announced on 16 May.

I used my favorite of the new release, Totally Narly, and the awesome wave die (also part of the release) for my card today. The wave die comes with an optional porthole die that I can't wait to use and have some little characters peaking out of.

To start my card, I used alcohol inks to create a blue underwater background. Then I used the new YNS wave die to cut the blue panel and a panel of white cardstock. I inlaid the two together to create a fun backdrop which I added to the front of a top folding A2 card. I stamped the sentiment in the white strip. Then I stamped the pirate octopus and narwhal from the Totally Narly stamp set on Neenah Solar white cardstock and colored them with copics. I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the front of my card with some foam tape. I finished it off with enamel Gumdrops around the sentiment.

Here are the items I used here so you can get a better idea of the cuteness.

YNS is also offering 20% off your entire purchase through midnight 16 May. You really do want to check it out!

Thanks so much for visiting! I really had a blast with this release and love the themes this month. Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate! Click the links below to join the hop and see the awesome creations the design team came up with.
