Sparkles Christmas - Feature a creature

It is the beginning of April and that means it is time for another challenge to help you get a head start on your holiday cards with Sparkles Christmas challenges :) This month we are looking for cards that Feature a Creature.

I realized that I don't have all that many Christmas stamps with little animals in them so I combined stamps from a few different sets to create this little Santa seal. To start, I laid out my stamps where I wanted them and then stamped the Santa hat both on a panel of white cardstock and also on a 'post it' note. I fussy cut the hat out of the post it note and used it as a mask. Then I stamped the seal and the sentiment and colored the seal with copics. On an A2 top folding card, I added red/white striped DSP for a background frame, trimmed my top panel and added it to the top. For a finishing touch, I added Stickles to the hat's poof and trim.

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn - Critters in the Snow, Merry Messages ; Paper Smooches - Chubby Chum Pals
Inks: Copics - R24,R29,R89,W00,W1,W3; MFT - Black licorice
Misc: DSP - Snap Color vibe ; Stickles - Diamond

I am sharing this card in a couple of challenges:
