Enjoy your day

Hello all. April is flying by! It has been a really busy couple of weeks for me which means limited time to craft. It didn't help that whenever I had a few spare moments, my creative mojo seemed to be missing. So, I sat down yesterday with a new-to-me stamp set and started playing around. My color inspiration came from a Doodles Paper Playground sparkle blend - Flower Power. The DPP sparkle blends make choosing color palettes so easy. I am so happy with the pretty colors and the feelings of spring!

To start, I laid out my three butterflies on a top folding A2 card along with the sentiment and then closed my misti down on them. The butterflies are all layering stamps so I started with the blue one on top (while still keeping the other 2 butterflies in position on the door of my misti) then worked my way down to the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in a dark gray to keep the whole card light.

In keeping with the spring theme, I wanted to add flowers and texture. The DPP sparkle blend - Flower Power fit that perfectly, along with giving shine.

Stamps: Waffle Flower - Pretty Wings
Inks: Lawn Fawn - Fish Tank, Doe, Walnut, Sunflower ; Ranger - Wild Orchid, Pink Gumball; SSS - Orange Slush
Embellishments: Doodles Paper Playground - Flower Power

I am sharing this card in:
