For this card, I started with a top folding A2 card and one of my all time favorite stencils (it was also possibly the first stencil I ever got). I used washi tape to temporarily tape the stencil on the card about halfway over. Then I used two different colors of Distress Oxides (Peacock Feathers and Broken China) to add color keeping the darker color (peacock feathers) to the outside and the lighter color towards the middle. On the very far edge, I used a very light touch to make the color fade out. To finish, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.

I am trying to make more than one card at a time, especially when the design is relatively quick so I used the same stencil in a different color scheme and a slightly more muted sentiment.
This card used the same stencil with Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough inks. I can't decide which color combo I like better. Which one is your favorite?
