I started this card out by using a stencil on glimmery cardstock with a mix of distress oxides in purple, blue and black. I stamped and colored the astronaut and planet, then die cut them out. The sentiment on the acetate was heat embossed with white EP. I used foam tape on the outside edges of the frame and added the sparkle blend to the middle before putting the inked up background on. The stamped images were added to the front of the card.
Here is a close up of the embellishments and the background. I love how shiny it all is, especially with the muted colors!
Supplies:
Stamps/Dies: Hero Arts - Astronomical
Inks: Distress Oxide inks - Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Black Soot; Copics
Stencils: Hero Arts
Paper: Simon Says Stamp - White Diamond Glimmer, Neenah Solar white
Embellishments: Doodles Paper Playground - Silver Lining sparkle blend
