Easily my favorite people to make cards for are my kids and my nieces. This one is for my oldest niece who is one of the sweetest, smartest teenagers I've ever known (not biased at all ;-) ). To start my card, I stamped the flowers on a panel of solar white cardstock and colored them in with a few copic markers. Then I trimmed it down and embossed the sentiment next to it. I took some black and white design paper and stamped small sentiments (awesome, terrific, amazing, etc) in green along the white stripes. With the white cardstock trimmed down, you can just see the words peeking out in the background. I mounted the flowers to the background with foam tape to give it a little dimension and added black enamel dots towards the bottom.
