Let's Celebrate

Hi everyone :) I hope the first few days of 2018 have been good to you. We are getting back into our everyday routine which, although I loved seeing everyone over the holidays, makes me very happy. There was one last family get together though, my little cousin's birthday is New Year's eve so we had to celebrate it. She turned 11 and is redecorating her room in gray, teal and gold. So that was my inspiration for her birthday card. Plus they have the sweetest golden retriever too!

I stamped the puppy and balloons on white cardstock and colored him with copics and wink of stella. Then I cut him out with a circle die. I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper as the background to put on a top folding A2 white card with the puppy on top. The color on the sentiment strip is just coloring with my copics and then gold heat embossing the actual sentiment. I added a couple of enamel dots on either end of the strip.

Stamps: YNS - love and smiles
Dies: Sizzix - framelits circle dies
Inks: copics, wink of stella - gold, versamark
Embossing powder - Reflections gold
