A couple of days ago I was playing with watercolor washes, just making a gradient going from one color to another. I love how watercolor looks but I am still at the basic level so I was really happy with this one.
Once this panel had dried, I used versafine ink to stamp the flowers and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I cut it down and stamped the sentiment the same way and embossed it too. I used foam tape to adhere it to a white card base. This is really simple which I like. :) I think that I am going to make a few more of these. My mom lives in a senior apartments and the other day she made a comment that they always give cards to the residents when they get sick or in the hospital. I think this would be a good design to make a bunch really quick that I can give to them to use when needed.
Supplies:
Stamps: Penny Black - sprigs, Altenew - extra special
Inks: Versafine black, Mijello Gold watercolors
I am sharing this in a few challenges:
