I am playing along with the Daily Marker's 30 Day color challenge and it has been a lot of fun. This was my coloring project today. I stamped the animals and tree first and colored them with copics. Then I cut the same images out of masking paper to cover them so that I could use distress inks to blend the background. That was when I realized it looked a little summery and I drew in some snowflakes with a white gel pen. I also added the white along the edges of the tree along with some glittery stickles. The last step was stamping the sentiment at the bottom.
Supplies:
Stamps: Ess by Ellen - Tree Farm, Lawnfawn - Merry messages
Inks - Copics; Distress inks - broken china, peeled paint, tumbled glass, salty ocean
Misc: white gel pen; stickles - diamond
I am sharing this card in a couple of challenges:
