just keep swimming

Hi everyone. Hope you are enjoying your weekend :) Here is a card I made for a friend.

I started out by stamping the goldfish and then embossing it with clear EP. Then I fussy cut them out since I didn't have the dies. For the background, I played with my distress oxide inks and just kept layering color and then spraying it with water until I got a look I liked. These inks really are like magic! I positioned the fish where I thought I wanted them and figured out where I wanted the sentiment. (Does anyone else hear Dory from Finding Nemo in your head when you see this sentiment?) I then stamped it in versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. Before I placed the goldfish I stamped the seaweed in a pale green. I added the googly eyes to the fish and used foam tape to give the fish some dimension.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts - color layering goldfish
Inks: Distress Oxides - Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers;
Lawn Fawn, Carrot, Sunflower, Doe

I am sharing this in the following challenges:

Thanks for visiting. I always appreciate hearing from you :)
