I'm not great at creating a background but I'm trying :) I started by stamping the little squirrels on some white cardstock and then colored them in with copics. My son's school colors are blue and maroon so those are the colors for the one with the football. Once I finished them I tried coloring the grass with copics but had a hard time blending that big of an area. I used a light blue just around the squirrels for the sky too. Then I changed tactics and got out my distress inks and blended them for the sky and over some of the grass. The clouds are a stencil with white pigment ink.
The sentiment is from the same CB stamp set and I used a MFT die to cut a scallop edge on my panel. I added the panel to a white card and added some glossy accents to the football to make it puffy.
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted - Game on
Dies: MFT - Blueprints 20
Inks: copic markers, distress inks
