Summer... that means hot days and hanging out with family and friends... and of course cooling down by eating ice cream/popsicles :) Which brings me to my card.
I love playing around with distress inks, so for this card I took Picked Raspberry and Twisted Citron and blended them across a piece of cardstock. Then I die cut the main portion of the popsicle and the 'sweet' word out of it. The stick to the popsicle was die cut from some kraft cardstock I had. I adhered them to a panel of white cardstock and then stamped the "you're so" at the bottom. I did spray some water mixed with perfect pearls on the popsicle to give it a shimmery look too.
The border is the remainder of the cardstock that I had cut the dies out of. It seemed a waste not to use it so I trimmed the white panel slightly and adhered it to the inked up cardstock.
