Thinking of you

Hi everyone. I hope that your week is going great! I want to give a shout out to my new followers, ionabunny and dotty jo x . Check them out if you haven't already, they are very talented :)

Today's card has no stamping which made me think a little more on how to put it together as that is not something that I do very often.

To start, I used patterned paper from Concord and 9th's Floral Fill in along with the coordinating stencils. I took a few inks in pink and yellow and stenciled in the flowers. Then I cut a small panel out of it and adhered it to pink cardstock. The sentiment is from a set of preprinted vellum strips that I've had forever. I cut a strip of white cardstock down and wrapped the vellum around it. I trimmed the edges up and used foam tape to added it to my card. I was feeling like it still needed more so I used Nuvo drops and randomly applied them to the sentiment and panel.

With the extra piece of patterned paper I made another card with a different color base. I added a piece of yellow cardstock to highlight the patterned paper on this one.

I am sharing this in the following challenges:
Less is More #338 - No stamps
CAS colours & sketches

SSS - Wednesday Challenge - Anything goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!
