Make a wish

Hi everyone! I am really glad there are sketch challenges out there because sometimes I have a hard time figuring out a design for a card. For this one, I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as my starting point.

I knew I wanted to use this candle stamp so I chose a different ink for each candle. Then I cut the black frame using SSS stitched squares and got a piece of green cardstock that I cut down to make a square card. I cut the white cardstock to fit behind the frame and actually glued everything together before I started stamping which I don't normally do. I used my misti to stamp each candle a different color and then the flames on top. Once that was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment in versafine black ink and then clear heat embossed on top. I stamped it again in clear versamark ink and embossed a second time to add more dimension.

Supplies
Stamps: MFT - Make a Wish
Inks: Distress Inks; Mama Elephant - Sunshine
Dies: Simon Says Stamp - Stitched squares

I am sharing this card in the following challenges:
