Kiss-moose

Hello, happy hump day :) I can't wait for the weekend to get here. My sister and her family are coming up for a visit so it should be a lot of fun! That also means that I probably won't get a lot of crafting done though so I made a card during the week instead.

White on white

Hi! The heat here has finally taken a tiny break. Phew! Anyway, here is another card for today.
There are a couple of white on white challenges going on so this is my take on them. I dry embossed the side and bottom of white cardstock and then heat embossed my sentiment with EP. The three flowers I layered on the right side and added some little pearls to the center. The panel was then put on a top folding card :)

AAA Cards #93 - Words Take Centre Stage

Hi everyone! Today I have a card for AAA Cards Challenge and the theme is Words Take Center Stage.

I started off by using my misti to center my sentiment. Then I took a couple of post it notes to mask off areas of the sentiment and inked up the open areas one at a time. I made sure to remove the post it notes each time I stamped the sentiment. I added a couple of hearts in the same colors and used a clear sparkle pen on the word 'beautiful'. To finish it off, I embossed stitched rectangles around the words as a frame.

I hope you play along with us and have fun creating!

Supplies:
Stamps: Concord & 9th - Beautiful Words
Dies: Avery Elle - Double Pierced Rectangles
Inks: Hero Arts - Green Hills; Mama Elephant - Sunshine; Ranger Dye - Raspberry Sorbet, Emerald Isle

Cheers

Hello. I feel like I have been super busy lately! So that means that I am keeping my cards super simple :)
I saw the theme for Addicted to Stamps was Cheers and I had this stamp set that I thought was perfect for it. I really wanted some pretty colors though so I did a search for colorful drinks and found an image gallery for neon drinks. Yum!

So that was the inspiration for these colorful glasses. I stamped the drinks on white cardstock and then stamped the sentiment underneath in black versafine ink and clear embossing powder. It was fun to color these in with bright colors. I did use a light gray color between the blue and purple to help blend. A die cut gave a nice curved line to the left of the image which I layered on a light blue cardstock. I also used a clear spectrum noir sparkle pen to add glitter to the drinks.

Stamps: Hero Arts - Celebrate Everyday, drinks (not sure)
Dies: Avery Elle - Custom Panels
Inks: MFT - Black Licorice, Versafine - onyx black, Copics

Vroom

Hi everyone and Happy Father's Day! This has been a crazy couple of weeks between school ending for my oldest, work trips and vacations, I haven't had as much time as I would like to be creative. These are all good things but I like being able to craft more :)

I want to give a big thank you to those who followed me. Thanks! I can't believe the talent of everyone and how nice this community is :)

Ok, now to some cards. I had intended to only make one card but the way it worked out, the scraps actually worked perfectly to make a second one.

You are the best

Hi everyone! It is time for a new challenge at AAA Card Challenges #92 - Resist Technique.

I am so excited to be joining these talented and supportive ladies as part of the AAA Cards design team!!

I started my card by stamping the butterflies with Versamark on watercolor cardstock and heat embossing them with clear powder. Then I used Zig Clean color markers to scribble over the embossing and used a spray bottle to mist the cardstock and spread the ink out with a brush. The embossing resisted the color and showed through. Taking a separate piece of white cardstock, I die cut the square out and layered it on top of the butterflies.
For the sentiment, I white embossed the saying on some black cardstock, trimmed it out and layered it on top of the square cutout. The butterfly was die cut and then colored it with my Zig Clean color marker and adhered to the sentiment. I put some tiny glue dots behind the wings to make them pop up and added glossy accents to the top.

I hope that you play along with us at AAA Cards and don't forget to check out the other ladies' inspiration pieces. They are really beautiful!

Stamps: Birch Press Designs - Close to the Heart; Hero Arts - Stamp and cut Thanks
Dies: SSS - Nested stitched squares; Cuttlebug - Up in the sky

Blue Christmas

Hello :) This is my first year where I am trying to make Christmas cards throughout the year and I have to laugh because we are supposed to be getting a string of 90 degree days and I am thinking about snow, lol. This time I did a card all in shades of blue.

Happy birthday

Hello! I have a card today for a guy.
I used Simon Says Stamp's Mod Circle background die with three different colors of cardstock and then used them like a puzzle to piece together my background. I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches Birthday Bash and heat embossed it. Pretty easy!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
SSS Wednesday - Anything Goes
The Male Room - Die Cuts
