Make my heart smile

Hi! I have a card I made for one of my kids today :)

My kids are 6, 3, and 3. They have so much fun playing with my card supplies and give me the sweetest compliments for anything I make (including the scraps that end up laying around, lol). I love making them cards. Their favorites are anything with pictures and bright colors. For this card I used distress oxide inks to color cardstock yellow and cut it out with a heart die. The hippos were colored with Zig clean color markers and then I fussy cut them out and used a little bit of foam tape to pop them up. I stamped the sentiment with a dark gray because I thought a black would be too stark and I wanted it to be a little bit softer.

Stamps: Clearly Besotted 'Just the Two of Us'; Penny Black 'So Very Much'
Ink: Hero Arts 'Charcoal'
Dies: Simon Says Stamp 'Nesting Heart Dies'

I am sharing this card in a couple of challenges:
