Spring flowers

Hi! Spring is such a fun inspiration for colors. I used SSS Mod Flower background stamp to clear emboss some watercolor cardstock. Then I took three Zig clean color markers and a water brush to color the flowers and leaves.

I die cut Hero Arts Thanks from the stamp and cut set twice and adhered them together for dimension. Then I used glossy accents to make it shiny. I also used the sentiment from the same stamp set and white embossed it on black cardstock. The butterfly is from Birch Press Design's Close to your Heart set in white pigment ink. A few sequins finished it off :)
The colors are really pretty and soft in real life. I am excited to send it to someone :)

I am sharing this card in Less is More - Three pastels challenge, HLS Watercolor - anyhing goes and SSS Work it Wednesday - spring has sprung challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. Absolutely stunning and elegant card, great use of pastel colours and watercolouring makes it so dreamy. We do like to see an area of complete 'white, un-patterned' space on our clean and simple cards at Less is More but thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us this week. Sarah x

  3. Such a pretty card! Loving those soft pastels with the stylish stamping. As Sarah says, a little empty space would keep the card within our CAS guidelines, but what a stunner - I truly love this beautiful creation. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More :)
