I was rushing last year to get Christmas cards done so this year I am determined to make them throughout the year (we'll see how well it goes).

I have an older set of Fiskars Christmas stamps and that is where I found my little snowman. I stamped him in Vintage Linen distress ink and then used my Zig clean color brushes and a water brush to color him in. He has the cutest expression on his face and I thought he should be looking at something so I drew in a strand of lights in his 'hand'. My snowman was looking cute and now I had to figure out what to do with the rest of the card. I put a horizon line in with a gray brush and added some stars in the sky. Then I just scribbled a lot of blue around everything and used my water brush to spread it out. I've seen other card makers do this and I like that it was super easy to do.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's sweet sentiments set. I get a lot of use out of this set. My first holiday card of the year is done!

I am putting this in two challenges. Addicted to Stamps and more challenge #233 - Holiday and HLS Christmas - Anything Goes.
